Because "Credentials are very limited and given based on media value," I was not able to shoot from the pit at the Live on the Green concert series in downtown Nashville. What I do not understand is under what circumstance would they not want Nashville's 3rd largest paper, which happens to cater to their target audience of between 18-22 year olds, not to be given access to the event. Yes, I know this is starting to sound like a rant but really Live on the Green ? You had one photographer there, come on now. That being said, Michael Franti and the Spearheads were absolutely awesome and killed it for the entire two hours that they played. At least I got a free concert out of it right? But so did everyone else...
