All of the performing arts showcases have been so great this year and Café con Leche certainly lived up to the billing.

Really enjoyed shooting Cafe con Leche. There was much more variety between acts than I expected and, as always, Capoeira may be the coolest dance to shoot in the world.

Today was seriously amazing. Got to see shadow snakes (1st video) a phenomena that happens before and after totality that scientists don't have a 100% certain understanding of. Apparently this is "hitting the eclipse lottery" according to the internet. Then, going through my photos on my computer this afternoon, figured out that I had actually captured some solar flares coming off the sun while it was behind the moon. Can't help but feeling a little small in the grand scheme of things after a day like today.
