The Vanderbilt Women's Basketball team kicked off the season the right way with a 103-50 victory against North Alabama. It felt great to be back in Memorial Gym shooting basketball again.

Today was seriously amazing. Got to see shadow snakes (1st video) a phenomena that happens before and after totality that scientists don't have a 100% certain understanding of. Apparently this is "hitting the eclipse lottery" according to the internet. Then, going through my photos on my computer this afternoon, figured out that I had actually captured some solar flares coming off the sun while it was behind the moon. Can't help but feeling a little small in the grand scheme of things after a day like today.
