The Kefi Project - Vanderbilt University

The Kefi Project announces their first public art installation of the 2013-14 school year outside of Rand Hall.  Entitled "Before I Die," the installation's unveiling coincides with a "Living before Dying" panel discussion to be held in Alumni Hall on September 10th. The Dirty Guv'nahs - Nashville Concert Photography

To end the marathon shooting day, I shot a free concert at our Student Life Center on campus featuring The Dirty Guv'nahs from Knoxville TN.

Spotlight - Vanderbilt University

Today was possibly the longest day of shooting and editing ever.  I started doing photo related stuff at 1 PM and it is currently 4 AM and I'm still going strong.  However, I am extremely happy with the photos that I took from Spotlight and they were well worth the 2+ hours of editing and uploading to our photo server.

Live on the Green - Nashville Concert Photography

Because "Credentials are very limited and given based on media value," I was not able to shoot from the pit at the Live on the Green concert series in downtown Nashville.  What I do not understand is under what circumstance would they not want Nashville's 3rd largest paper, which happens to cater to their target audience of between 18-22 year olds, not to be given access to the event.  Yes, I know this is starting to sound like a rant but really Live on the Green ?  You had one photographer there, come on now.  That being said, Michael Franti and the Spearheads were absolutely awesome and killed it for the entire two hours that they played.  At least I got a free concert out of it right? But so did everyone else...
